🍲 OK Tuck Restaurant – Brinchang’s cozy steamboat haven

Founded in 1997 by Mr. Lee Tuck Wan and Mrs. Goh, OK Tuck Restaurant reflects their decades of culinary experience—from working in Ipoh dim sum and Penang eateries to setting up this family-run joint in Cameron Highlands.

Situated at 26 Jalan Besar, Brinchang, opposite the local KFC, it’s easily spotted with its bold daytime signboard. The interior is casual and welcoming, perfect for family dinners or group gatherings during cool highlands nights.

Open daily from 11 am to 10 pm, Steamboat meals about RM33 per person, with many fix‑price non‑halal cooked dishes in similar range.

A highlight here is the customizable steamboat—single or “yin‐yong” (double‑flavour) soups like Tom Yam, chicken, or herbal. Diners cook a bounty of ingredients—fresh seafood, meats, mushrooms, tofu and greens—at the table.

OK Tuck isn’t just another eatery—it’s a piece of Brinchang’s evolving food narrative. As a family-run operation serving affordable, comforting steamboat and homey dishes, it embodies the Highlands’ appeal. Its blend of heritage, fresh ingredients, and welcoming vibe exemplifies why local dining experiences matter.
