Barbeque Nation Select Low Yat Park, Kuala Lumpur
Hi everyone! Today I’m at Barbeque Nation Select in Low Yat Park, one of their newer outlets in KL. I’ve been seeing so many people talk about this place, so I’m here to check out what the dining experience is really like. Let’s go inside!
The first thing you notice as you step in is the warm, cozy environment. The lighting is soft, the space feels clean, and the overall vibe is super welcoming. It’s busy, but not chaotic just nice for family gatherings, catching up with friends, or even coming for a casual dinner date. The staff here are friendly too. They explain the menu, check on you often, and make sure you’re comfortable.
Starting with something light, the dahi puri. This one surprised me! The puri shell is crispy, and the filling is creamy, sweet, tangy, and refreshing at the same time. The yogurt cools everything down, and the spices give it a nice lift. Perfect to warm up the appetite.
Next, I tried the coastal curried prawn. This is where the flavours really kick in. The curry coating is rich and aromatic, with hints of coconut and spices you normally get in coastal-style Indian cooking. The prawns are fresh, juicy, and full of flavour. If you’re a seafood lover, this is definitely a must-try.
And then, the Pancer Angara. one of my favourites of the day. It’s beautifully marinated with spices, slightly smoky, and super tender when you bite in. The flavour is bold but balanced, not overly spicy. Pair it with their mint chutney and perfect.
To wrap everything up, I ended with a cup of their masala chai. It’s warm, creamy, and filled with spices like cardamom and ginger. After all the rich flavours, this chai is such a comforting finish. Honestly so satisfying.
So overall, Barbeque Nation Select Low Yat Park really surprised me. The environment is relaxing, the staff are attentive, and there’s a good variety of dishes to explore. You can really take your time eating, trying different flavours, and enjoying the whole experience.
If you’re around Bukit Bintang or Low Yat, this is a nice spot to check out.
