Siniawan Old Town, Kuching Sarawak

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my Blog. today we’re exploring one of Sarawak’s most charming heritage spots, Siniawan Old Town! Just about 30 minutes from Kuching, this little town comes alive every weekend with its famous night market, traditional shophouses, and amazing local food. Let’s go!

As soon as you step in, it feels like time slows down. These heritage shophouses are over a hundred years old beautifully preserved, with that old Borneo charm. And when the lanterns light up, it’s pure magic. This place is all about that mix of nostalgia and community locals, tourists, everyone coming together for good food and good vibes.
Now, let’s talk about what makes Siniawan so special the food! From local classics to Sarawak favourites, everything smells amazing. One of my favourite things here the local vibe. You’ve got live music, friendly stall owners, and sometimes even cultural performances. Grab a drink, sit back, and just enjoy the moment.

Siniawan isn’t just a market it’s a living piece of history. These wooden shophouses tell stories of traders and families from generations ago, and tonight they’re still full of life. There’s something so comforting about the lights, the smells, and the sound of laughter all around.
So that’s my night at Siniawan Old Town. If you’re in Kuching for the weekend, this place is a must-visit a perfect mix of heritage, street food, and that warm local spirit.

Thanks for Reading! Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more Kuching adventures. Till next time makan and enjoy life!
