Akina Night Market, Kota Kinabalu Sabah


Hey guys, Tonight we’re exploring one of KK’s must-visit food spots Akina Night Market. If you love street food, seafood, desserts, and good vibes, this is definitely the place to be. So let’s go check out what this night market has to offer!

Once you step in, the atmosphere is super lively smells of grilled seafood everywhere, the sound of sizzling pans, people laughing, vendors calling out it feels like a true Sabah street food experience. And everything looks so colourful!

Okay, we’re starting strong the seafood section. Look at this! Fresh prawns, squid, lala, fish, and even lobsters. The best part? They cook everything right in front of you. I’m definitely ordering kam heong crab and 3 rasa red snapper with sambal pedas. Just look at that marinade — glowing under the fire!

Alright guys, food is ready! Look at this plate the crab are shiny and smoky, and the fish got that perfect char. 

Oh! They even have lato seaweed, the famous sea grapes. Crunchy, fresh, and so good with lime and sambal. If you want something light, this is a must-try. esides seafood, you can find all kinds of food here satay, grilled chicken wings, noodles, takoyaki, fried snacks, Korean street food basically everything you can imagine in one place.

So far, Akina Night Market is definitely worth visiting. The food variety is amazing, the price is affordable, and the whole vibe just feels warm and fun. It’s one of those places where you come hungry and leave happy.

Larut Matang Food Court , Taiping

  When you travel to Taiping, it is not necessary for you to dine in a air conditioning restaurant for seafood dinner, the better choice is to try the local Malaysian foods in a famous hawker center , the one place that's always crowded is the Larut Matang Hawker Centre .  There are Malay, Chinese and Indian food for you. Please come with empty stomach and enjoy eating , for those who know Taiping, They call it “Cai Chi” (Hokkien).
