Cheese Lovers Gather at The Ultimate California Cheese Party 2026 in Kuala Lump

Petaling Jaya, April 7, 2026 - Cheese lovers, bloggers, influencers and trade partners came together for an unforgettable celebration of all things cheese at The Ultimate California Cheese Party 2026, hosted by Real California Milk at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, The Intermark. The lively event welcomed guests into a fun-filled afternoon of tasting, learning and creativity, where they discovered the world of natural and artisan California cheeses through interactive experiences, live demonstrations and hands-on activities.
From the moment they arrived, guests were greeted with a special door gift goodie bag before exploring a vibrant Real California Milk cheese product showcase featuring a wide variety of natural cheeses, from commodity to artisan selections. The showcase highlighted why California is the leading dairy-producing state in the United States, known for its ideal weather, grain-fed cows, quality water and strict USDA food safety standards.
Guests also enjoyed an interactive photobooth featuring fun props and slogans celebrating Real California Milk. Attendees were encouraged to share their moments on social media using the hashtags #RealCaliforniaMilkMY, #RealCaliforniaMilk, and #RealCaliforniaCheese.
One of the key highlights of the afternoon was an exclusive presentation and tasting session by Ms. Lynn Giacomini Stray, Co-Founder and CEO of Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company. 
Guests had the opportunity to discover the heritage and craftsmanship behind the award-winning Point Reyes cheeses, while tasting a curated selection of their signature varieties.
Importantly, Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese products featured at the event have been certified halal, making these premium artisan cheeses more accessible and suitable for Muslim consumers in Malaysia. This milestone reinforces Point Reyes’ commitment to quality, inclusivity and meeting the needs of the Malaysian market.
During the tasting session, guests sampled five distinct Point Reyes cheese varieties, including Point Reyes Bay Blue, Gouda, Toma Truffle, TomaRashi and Toma Cheese. Each cheese offered its own unique profile and flavour experience, from creamy and buttery notes to earthy truffle, subtle spice and bold blue cheese characteristics.
The event also showcased the versatility of California natural cheeses through an exciting live culinary demonstration by Chef Fazil Shahreen, Group Executive Chef of The Olive Tree Group. Guests enjoyed tasting three delicious dishes created with California cheeses – Corn Croquette, Rice Kheer and Stuffed Scallop Wing, proving that cheese can elevate both savoury and sweet dishes.
Adding another layer of inspiration, Chef Aison Osman Wong, Founder of Aison Bakery, shared his signature Blue Cheese Sourdough and Focaccia bread creations. Known for his artisanal, handcrafted breads and award-winning pastries, Chef Aison demonstrated how premium California cheeses can be incorporated into everyday baking and dining. 
The excitement continued with a DIY Cheese Board Competition led by Chef Jason and judged by Chef Aison, Chef Fazil and Ms. Lynn Giacomini Stray. Guests enthusiastically created their own cheese boards using a selection of cheeses and ingredients, learning how to arrange them into beautiful and appetising displays.
The room was filled with laughter, creativity and plenty of friendly competition as participants snapped photos of their cheese boards and uploaded them to social media as part of the day’s contest. The event concluded with a group photo and prize presentation for the social media contest winners.
